For hygiene and consumer protection reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • pierced earrings once opened or worn

  • personalised jewellery

  • engraved items

  • bespoke commissions

  • made-to-order jewellery (unless faulty)

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will normally be processed between 3-10 working days using the original payment method.

Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.

We reserve the right to reduce refunds where returned items show signs of unnecessary handling beyond what is reasonably required to inspect them.

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within within 10 working days and provide:

  • your order number

  • photographs of the issue

  • a description of the fault

Where the item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund.

13. Hall Marking

Where required by UK law, jewellery made from precious metals will be hallmarked in accordance with the Hallmarking Act 1973.

A hallmark is an independent guarantee of the precious metal content of an item and is applied by an authorised UK Assay Office.

Where applicable, our jewellery may bear:

  • the sponsor’s (maker’s) mark;

  • the assay office mark;

  • the fineness (purity) mark; and

  • any additional compulsory or optional marks required by law.

Some items may be exempt from compulsory hallmarking if they fall below the statutory weight thresholds prescribed by UK legislation. These items are accurately described by their metal content but may not carry a hallmark due to their weight.

If you have any questions regarding the hallmarking of a particular item, please contact us before placing your order.

14. Jewellery Care

Our jewellery should be treated with reasonable care.

To maximise its lifespan:

  • avoid chemicals

  • avoid perfumes and lotions

  • remove jewellery before exercising or sleeping

  • store items separately

  • clean using appropriate jewellery cloths not silver dip

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper care or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault.

15. Commissioned and Bespoke Jewellery

We may accept commissions for bespoke or personalised jewellery.

Before work begins:

  • design details will be agreed

  • pricing will be confirmed

  • estimated completion times will be provided

A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required.

Once production has started:

  • design changes may incur additional costs

  • completion dates are estimates only

  • deposits are non-refundable except where required by law

Because commissioned items are made specifically for you, they cannot normally be cancelled or returned unless faulty or not as described.
